SACRAMENTO (CN) – Pacific Bell segregates its Hispanic and disabled employees in inferior quarters contaminated by asbestos and subjects them to insults and humiliation in its Hispanic Service Centers throughout California, a longtime worker claims in Superior Court. Rosemary Marin says Pac Bell dba AT&T of California segregates Hispanic workers, Spanish speakers and disabled workers in its “Blue Hole Team,” and that managers and co-workers call them the “disabled team,” the “cripples” and “Jerry’s kids.” She demands punitive damages for false imprisonment, assault, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She is represented by Andrea Rose of Elk Grove.
