Parents can’t bind kids to arbitration in Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA — An appeals court in Pennsylvania found that parents cannot bind their children to an arbitration agreement and waive their right to sue in court over their injuries. The matter arose in a lawsuit against a trampoline park that required parents to sign a waiver including an arbitration agreement on behalf of their kids, who were injured while jumping.
