Police Assault

<p>A police officer was properly convicted of multiple charges after he forcibly and violently had sex with a woman in lieu of arresting her for prostitution, the Guam Supreme Court <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/policeassault.pdf">ruled</a></strong>.</p>

HAGATNA, Guam — A police officer was properly convicted of multiple charges after he forcibly and violently had sex with a woman in lieu of arresting her for prostitution, the Guam Supreme Court ruled .

The court did determine, however, vacate three of the police officer’s convictions, finding that two of them were included offenses of other convictions and one violated double jeopardy.
