Political Asylum

HOUSTON — An Iraqi-born political asylee and legal permanent U.S. resident who served as a guide for U.S. troops, and whose brother was murdered and father tortured by the Islamic State group in revenge for it, filed a habeas petition  seeking relief from a private prison in Conroe, Texas.
