SACRAMENTO (CN) – The Sacramento Public Library fired its finance director to retaliate for his truthful reports that several of its directors were using country credit cards for personal items, and that it “caused a $1 million overpayment to be made to one county employee’s own company,” Anil Paul claims in Superior Court. An attached letter from Paul’s attorney indicates the Library refused his offer to settle for four years pay and benefits: $720,000.
