Sober home sale

MONROE, La. — A federal court in Louisiana preserved some disability discrimination claims brought by organizers of a residential treatment facility for alcoholics, who seek to buy a 54-bedroom property from the city for $1.05 million so it can be used as a sober house. The city ultimately refused to sell it after neighboring church pastors opposed the sale.
