In upholding a murder conviction, the New Mexico Supreme Court said Tuesday it has <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/SpousalTestimony-NMSC.pdf">abolished a prohibition</a></strong> against spouses testifying in court cases about what their husband or wife told them in private conversations during their marriage.

SANTA FE, N.M. — The New Mexico Supreme Court affirmed a murder conviction, saying it has abolished a prohibition against witnesses testifying in court about what their husband or wife told them in private conversations during their marriage.
