SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The City of Springfield and its leaders are suing the neo-Nazi group Blood Tribe in federal court, accusing it of orchestrating a “campaign of harassment and intimidation fueled by ethnic and racial hatred” against supporters of the city’s Haitian community. The city says group members showed up at public events and outside the mayor’s home, waving swastika flags, chanting racist slogans and threatening violence in protest of the city’s Haitian immigrant population.
