Stolen StarCraft II maps

DALLAS — A federal court in Texas ruled against a Korean citizen who sought to subpoena Discord and Activision Blizzard for information about the identity of a hacker who allegedly posted the Korean litigant’s custom StarCraft II campaign maps for free on Discord, maps that make him an alleged 3 million won ($2,196) monthly. Neither of the technology companies reside in the the district, nor has he shown that the information will be used in a foreign tribunal proceeding beyond a complaint filed with a Korean police department, which doesn’t count.
