Strip Clubs Take Fight To Court

LAS VEGAS (CN) – Two strip clubs say competitors paid kickbacks to cabbies who diverted their customers. Déjà Vu and Little Darlings claim in Clark County Court that cabbies told passengers asking to be taken to their clubs that they were “dumps” full of “old hogs” and “chicks with bullet wounds.”     The drivers are accused of suggesting defendants’ clubs, such as the Can Can Room, Club Paradise, Seamless, Spearmint Rhino, Penthouse Executive Girls, Olympic Gardens or the Palomino Club, among others.      In exchange, the estimated 500 drivers got credits, comps and tips from the defendants, the lawsuit states.     It is against Nevada law for taxi drivers to accept any form of compensation for diverting prospective customers from any business.     The plaintiffs want the activity to stop, and punitive damages. They are represented by Neil Beller.
