CHICAGO — A federal judge found Chila Productions did not violate Red Label Music Publishing’s copyright in the music video of the “Super Bowl Shuffle,” celebrating the Chicago Bears’ 1985 season, as the film uses only brief excerpts and was fair use because it is a historical commentary on the Bears’ season.
