CHICAGO (CN) – T-Mobile USA and Young America Corp. defraud customers by offering rebates on purchases of cell phones and service plans, but delivering only a VISA rebate card with less than cash value and “numerous use restrictions,” a class action claims in Federal Court. One named plaintiff claims he never got his promised $50 rebate until he complained to the Illinois Attorney General, and even then the defendants did not deliver the rebate as promised. The class demands punitive damages. They are represented by Arthur Gold with Gold & Coulson.
