QUEENS, N.Y. (CN) – The four people who run the Heaven Dao Temple defrauded a woman of $450,000 for their supposed religious organization, Betty Song claims in Queens County Court. Song says the defendants promised to build a cemetery and temple, but essentially just wrote themselves checks from the money they collected. Defendants include Hon An Jyi, Cheng-Teh Inn, Cheng-Chiu Fang, and Pei-Hua Tu. Song is represented by Malan Lentini of Flushing.
