Trespasser will answer for Communion kerfuffle

PHILADELPHIA — A federal court in Pennsylvania ruled that the evidence sufficed to sentence a man for disorderly conduct after he tried to take a piece of sacrificial host from his mouth during a Catholic Mass at a church where he was known for being disruptive. He intended to “bring God the Father with [him]” to court later that day. His sentences for harassing police officers are vacated, however, because he lacked an intent to annoy, even if his behavior “was undoubtedly annoying.”
