EL CAJON, CALIF. (CN) – A woman claims a veterinary clinic put her late mother’s euthanized dog, Corky, into a bin with other animals for mass incineration, making Corky’s individual cremation impossible. She claims this negligence and breach of contract made it impossible to bury the dog with her mother, “as her eternal companion,” as her mom wanted. Susan Chance says Corky was her disabled mother’s sole companion at the end of her life. She sued Eastridge Veterinary Clinic in Superior Court. She is represented by J.P. Miller Jr.
