Virtual World Internet Games Lead|To Patent Fight in a Real Federal Court

TYLER, Texas (CN) – Worlds.com, a Massachusetts company, claims a Korean competitor is violating patent on “massively multiplayer online role-playing games.” Defendant NCSoft sells “City of Heroes,” “City of Villains,” “Dungeon Runners,” “Exteel,” “Guild Wars,” “Lineage,” “Tabula Rasa,” and other games that violate World’s “System and Method for Enabling Users to Interact in a Virtual Space,” according to the federal complaint.
