<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Fifth Circuit <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/voterregistration.pdf"><strong>ruled</strong></a> that the Texas Department of Public Safety’s voter registration system does not violate the Equal Protection Clause or the National Voter Registration Act. Individuals using the department’s online system to renew their driver’s license or change their address are prompted to request a paper voter application that they must mail in. </span>

AUSTIN, Texas – The Fifth Circuit ruled that the Texas Department of Public Safety’s voter registration system does not violate the Equal Protection Clause or the National Voter Registration Act. Individuals using the department’s online system to renew their driver’s license or change their address are prompted to request a paper voter application that they must mail in.
