Washington Supreme Court

ATTORNEYS – Attorney Jeffrey Day was convicted of molesting an 11-year-old client and disbarred. The state high court found that the hearing officer correctly deviated from the usual sanctions by ordering disbarment based on Day’s abuse of the victim and the victim’s mother’s trust. Day was convicted of first-degree child molestation. See ruling.
