BOISE (CN) – In another case of a misdirected email, a job applicant sued El Centro Finance for age discrimination. He claims that after he applied for a management job by email, El Centro’s CEO mistakenly sent him a reply stating, among other things, “He must be old and just looking for something to do.” Kenneth Wold, who is 46, says El Centro’s CEO Benjamin Page sent him the email by mistake. El Centro sells insurance, real estate, mortgages and tax services. Wold says he got no further communications from El Centro, which hired a younger and less qualified person for the job. He is represented by Sam Johnson with Johnson & Monteleone.
