ST. LOUIS (CN) – A woman pleaded guilty to federal charges of pimping a 13-year-old runaway. Latasha Jewell McFarland, 27, told the girl she could earn $100 for each sex act, prosecutors said. McFarland posted pictures of the teen online, bought condoms, arranged meetings, drove the teen to encounters and encouraged her to attend swinger parties where men paid an entrance fee to have sex with multiple women, prosecutors said. McFarland took half of the girl’s money for her trouble. McFarland pleaded guilty use of interstate commerce to promote prostitution. She faces 5 years in federal prison at her Dec. 1 sentencing.
