NEW ORLEANS (CN) – A woman claims St. John Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Wayne Schaeffer physically assaulted, sexually battered and tried to force her into giving him oral sex in his squad car. She claims in Federal Court that Schaeffer told her that sodomizing him would absolve her of suspicion of shoplifting, that if she refused he would “set (her) up,” and that after she escaped he threatened her with death and stalked and harassed her at her home. She says Schaeffer met her through being her minor daughter’s softball coach.****
