Zoning protests

HOUSTON — The city of Austin is required to comply with a zoning-enabling statute’s written notice and protest provisions while it comprehensively revises its Land Development Code, an appeals court in Texas ruled. More than 14,000 property owners in the city have filed protests against the revision of the code.
